Adam Spychalla
Owner & Groundskeeper
Adam is the behind-the-scenes magic of The Lofty Life!
As our groundskeeper, he pours incredible time and care into keeping the studio running smoothly and looking absolutely stunning.
From upkeep to upgrades, Adam’s thoughtful touch is everywhere—and the entire aerial community benefits from his quiet dedication and support. The silks may fly inside, but Adam keeps things grounded outside.
Aleksandra Koledova
Aerial Silks Coach
Aleksandra has been practicing aerial arts for over 6 years, and nothing beats the thrill of any variation of double star drop!
She started silks after her daughter brought home a flyer—and together they leapt into a new world of strength and creativity. What began as a shared adventure became a personal passion, helping Aleksandra build physical strength and form lasting connections with incredible people.
She loves seeing students develop, grow, and shine.

Christine Adams
Aerial Silks & Hoop Coach
Christine has been flying on silks since 2018 and added hoop to her skillset in 2021. Her favorites? The Iron Cross on silks and flag rotation to catchers on hoop!
She jumped into the world of aerial after seeing a friend’s class and thinking, “I want to do circus!” A Facebook ad led her to Kelsey and the rest is history.
Christine absolutely loves helping students of all ages succeed. Aerial arts changed her life, made her strong, and gave her a second home at The Lofty Life.
Julie Volm
Aerial Silks Coach
Julie has been spinning and soaring on the silks for 3 years. Her favorite move? The no-hand star drop!
She walked into the studio thanks to a friend—and was immediately hooked by the uplifting energy and supportive environment.
Julie’s favorite teaching moments are watching when students surprise themselves by completing a trick. Sometimes their face shows disbelief, sometimes joy, sometimes "I'm not doing that again" :).....but there is always an element of pride on their face.
Silks helped shift her mindset from "I could never do that" to "I bet I can".

Katie Campbell
Aerial Silks Coach
Katie has been flying high with Lofty Life since 2019. She saw silks from across the gym, got curious and just had to try it. One class and she was hooked! She lives for drops like Matrix or anything with slack!
What started as curiosity has grown into a passion that feels like home. Aerial silks is her meditation, her therapy, her creative joy—an art form that feels like an extension of herself. When she’s on the silks, she feel completely free, as if the outside world fades away.
Teaching is all about helping others unlock their inner strength—and cheering loud when they do! She is especially grateful for the community that lifts one another up on and off the silks.
🎶Favorite Song to Move to: anything by Andy Grammer, Queen, or a bold, empowered female voice!
Lauren Huson
Aerial Silks Coach
Lauren has been with The Lofty Life since day one in 2018, and she’s been soaring ever since! A lifelong dancer and gymnast, aerial felt like the perfect blend of artistry and athleticism. She couldn’t pick a single favorite trick… her first favorite trick was crossback straddle. But, the trick she was most excited to learn was a windmill.
Lauren loves watching students blossom into strong, confident performers and adores the supportive, celebratory culture at the studio. This skill has allowed her to appreciate her body for what it can do versus what it looks like. Through aerial, she’s found strength, encouragement community, and friendships that last a lifetime.
🎶Favorite Song to Move to: Anything by a strong female artist!
“There’s also something really special about learning this brand new thing as an adult. I never imagined I’d have an opportunity to do an activity like this (and even perform for an audience!) after college.”
Lexi Olivares
Aerial Silks Coach
Lexi has been practicing aerial arts for 5 years. Aerial found her through a high school theater role for her first fly! She’s since fallen in love with cartwheel star drops and the sense of freedom that comes with flying.
Aerial Arts has become a form of therapy for her, but has also given her an outlet to express herself, have fun, establish a healthy relationship with her body, engage in exercise, and meet a wonderful community of people. Aerial Arts has changed her life significantly!
Lexi is all about helping students thrive while continuing to grow in her own practice. It's been a game-changer personally and now she gets to help others experience that too!

Melissa Skibba

Melissa began aerial silks in November 2022, drawn in by a desire to stay active through the long, cozy winters. But what she found was so much more—a sacred space to worship, to move, and to connect with others.
She loves sharing in the journey as students crush their goals, tackle fears, and unlock new levels of strength. Her current favorite? The no-handed double star!
Melissa’s passion for movement and faith beautifully blend on the silks.
